Bob Lessard

Bob Lessard has owned and operated fishing lodges for over 60 years ranging from International Falls, Minnesota and Fort Frances, Ontario, to Great Bear Lake in Canada’s Northwest Territories.

 A 26-year veteran of the Minnesota State Senate, Bob has been recognized for his passion and tireless efforts championing the rights of hunters, anglers and outdoor lovers everywhere. Authoring the first constitutional right to hunt and fish in the nation, and help lead and pass landmark legislation to constitutionally fund our natural resources and many other outdoor issues during his tenure has made him a prominent figure and widely known in the outdoor community.




Brett Lessard

As a young boy, Bob was embraced by commercial fisherman on the North Arm of Rainy Lake and has unsurpassed knowledge of what the the lake  has to offer.  He purchased the property at Sunny Beach in 1958 after serving in the Korean War and considers it one of his wisest decisions to date due to the luxurious beach and prime location.  With nearly a thousand miles of lake shore and countless islands, our location on Rainy Lake offers access to endless adventure you are sure to enjoy.
